People’s Choice DanceSport Competition Memorial Day weekend was a great celebration in the world of dance. Record number of dancers, participants and spectators attended the People’s Choice DanceSport Competition! This was the 8th year of the event, which is growing exponentially. Saturday night the Professional Gram Slam and People’s Choice Awards sessions were danced to a full house; the last 100 tickets sold were for standing room only! Forrest Vance’s organization and execution of this premiere annual DanceSport competition continues to enchant and delight everyone! The elegance of the venue, The Ritz-Carlton, Phoenix, AZ., was a wonderful complement to his attention for detail and the high standard he sets in the ballroom and dining room. Mr. Vance is proud of; the professionals and amateurs who attend to compete, the esteemed panel of adjudicators, his MC’s, the vendors, and entire support staff. Mr. Vance is also grateful to his generous and devoted sponsors. Participants in the event were delighted with the fabulous ambiance and service from the Ritz-Carlton and staff and were especially thrilled with the gift they each received – a monogrammed, wheeled, travel dance bag.
