Mr. Vance has won the Top Teacher at the United States Dance Championships eight times.
Forrest Vance won every state and national competition he danced in both in the United States and Canada during the years 1982 – 1992.
As U.S. Champion, he was invited to dance in Moscow and St. Petersburg by the Russian government.
Between 1986 and 1992 he appeared on PBS Championship Ballroom Dancing five times with Juliet Prowse, and also danced with Sandy Duncan, Barbara Eden and Mary Lou Henner.
